WWE: CM Punk Quits, What
Now!
In June 2011,
CM Punk shocked the wrestling world when he sat down on a stage in and
delivered a Pipebomb expressing his frustrations with the WWE. After being
overlooked and buried by the creative team for a number of Years, Punk Gave One
of the Greatest rants In the History of the Company. Which was centred on the
Fact He Wasn’t Afraid to Walk away From the Company. His frustrations had
boiled over to a point that he was willing walk away from the Biggest wrestling
company in the World. Rather than put up with the Put Downs from the Creative
Team week after week.
It Now
Appears that frustration has got better
of Punk Again, but this time he as walked away from the company before his
contract ended. Cm Punk Didn’t Appear At Raw and That Left Fans Wondering What
Was Going On. Then On 28/01/2014 reports started to surfaced that Punk left the
company and told Vince McMahon he was going home.
Whilst I
Do Agree these rumours could just be the WWE working scheme to make it seem
like Punk is leaving again, at the Minute it would appear that Punk as Legitimately
Walked Out.
Punk has always
made his disapproval of part-time wrestlers coming in and stealing the
spotlight every year at WrestleMania Clear. Many Media Outlets are Suggesting
Punk Left Because He Is Not Happy that He Isn’t In The Main Event At
Wrestlemania 30 and decided not to stick around for a Match With Triple H as he
feels he is been over looked again. .
It has
been Reported that Many of WWE’s Big Name Stars aint happy with WWE Current
Product. So Maybe with One of Them Walking Away WWE Might Think about Giving
Main Events spots to guys like Dave Batista & Brock Lesnar who has made it
clear they only want to come in for the big money and leave while the rest of
the roster works all year. The Rock is an all-time great, but he is leaving
almost as soon as he returns.
It is
Quite Clear that Punk cares about the product that he isn't shy about speaking
out for fans. During his dispute with the WWE in 2011, Punk told McMahon that
you are punishing people for loving wrestling. The WWE often ignores the wants
of fans in order to push its own agenda down our throats. You Only Need To Watch
The Royal Rumble, The People that got the most spotlight on the card was John
Cena, Dave Batista, Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar and they have all been booed
heavily by fans lately despite Cena and Batista being “Face” Meanwhile the 2
guys who got the loudest reactions, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan were buried in
terrible angles AS Usual that night. It's one thing to make fans wait a bit to
see their favourites get over, but If The WWE Keeps ignoring the Fans for too
long only results in fans tuning out and not Buying The Product Anymore.
No CM
Punk in the WWE is bad for WWE as a whole because they can’t hold Big Name
Talent but it is worse for the Fans as a Whole. Over the course of his career
in the company, Punk has developed a reputation as being a guy who can deliver
a good match, promo and story anytime he is asked. Whether he is a face or a
heel, (Some Would Call This the Austin Effect) Punk knows how to entertain an
audience like only a Very Few of the Greats Can...
I can say
that I am legitimately disappointed With the Current WWE Product. They seem to
have lost their way as they have no real competition from Other Companies
I Like the
Fact That CM Punk is standing up for himself, The Fans Need Top Stand by Him.
And show their displeasure to The WWE. Punk famously said it himself he is just
another spoke on the wheel and the WWE will just find another guy to take his
spot. But sadly, whoever it is won't be able to fill his shoes because to Many
CM Punk as Been the Best since Day One and truly is the Best in the World
Today.
CM Punk is
still in the prime of his career but left with no place to showcase his skills
on a comparable stage. TNA may have a TV deal, but unlike WCW back in the day,
TNA isn't competition for WWE (Sorry Oli).
After
Wrestlemania 30 when all the part-time talent is gone, the WWE won’t have there
go to star on the roster to help keep the product entertaining. That means
having to build another name To Ram down Our Throats.
I’m Sure
This Story Will Continue To develop over the next few weeks and there's no
doubt the rumour mill will be In Over Drive about what is going to happen with
Punk. Storyline or not, Punk leaving the WWE is sure to get people talking, one
way or another About the man tht many many wrestling fans today consider to be The Best In The World.
